Thorndikes Lane Facilities
Clients without suitable facilities are welcome to visit Thorndikes Lane Livery, whether this is for coaching or for McTimoney treatment. The 25mx45m arena has a fantastic sand, fibre and rubber surface which never rides deep or has standing water, making it usable at any time of the year. There is also a full set of show-jumps and dressage boards for use on grass during the summer.
Coaching on the flat can take place on evenings all year round as the arena is equipped with periphery lighting. All stables are rubber matted giving horses sure-footing during McTimoney treatments and the long, flat concrete yard is ideal for trotting up during the gait assessment.
For those requiring that little bit extra help, whether this is a few intensive weeks schooling for your horse or just keeping your horse going whilst you are on holiday, this can often be accommodated. Please contact for further details.
Horses can also be accommodated on a rehab livery if they require more regular McTimoney treatments, Equissage or just a return to work programme that you might not have the time to do yourself.
Thorndikes Lane Additional Services
Thorndikes Lane also offers livery on a full, part and DIY basis. Packages can also be tailored to suit your requirements. Please contact me for further details.

We do not have a Cross-Country course on site but I do regularly run clinics at various other venues or I can meet you at a venue for private tuition. I am able to run simulated cross-country sessions using the showjumps.
Yes I can take short term liveries in to work on specific training issues or just to give you a boost in your training to move forward quicker. Please contact me to discuss your individual requirements.
We are able to take horses in who require rest and therapy work and build them up with treatments and ground work and eventually back to full ridden work. Each case is individual and will require a different programme. We work closely with our fantastic vets and farrier to provide the best service possible to return your horse to full fitness.
